Walton had a good day at our home regatta with twelve wins. In fine but windy conditions the standard of racing was very high with our local rivals out in force especially in the junior events.
Thomas Philpott started things going with a hard fought win in J14 singles, Followed by a double in J15 doubles with Tash and Issy winning the girls event and Ed and Arden the boys both in close races. This was followed by the J15 boys four winning their final after a close race with Kingston GS.
In the afternoon events the J14 octuple beat Whitgift School in their semi-final but could bot repeat the feat against St Georges in the final. The J15 boys quad won a great final against Windsor Boys to win their event.
In the masters events our women’s coxed four, various doubles and a masters single won their events.
