Some really great performances from the Walton crews at the British Club Championships in Nottingham last weekend. There was a bronze medal for Scarlett and Amelia in WJ16 pairs, a silver for Arlo and Mika in J16 pairs, and golds for Oli in WJ14 singles and for Lily and Perri in WJ14 doubles, with Ethan also making the A final.
Meanwhile at Molesey Rosie & Lottie won WJ18 doubles , and Charlotte WJ18 singles. On the Sunday Kateia won WJ15 singles and Leela and Holly the doubles, while Flick and Amelia lost the final of WJ16 doubles by 2 feet! Wins also for the boys’ and girls’ J13 quads (James, Matthew, Barney and Oscar c Seraphine, Nina, Etta, Martha and Rose c Norah). All these crews sculled down through the lock and back. Well done to all of them!
