Congratulations to Annie Withers, who started her rowing at Walton, for winning a place in the GB VIII at the European Championships in Racice, Czech Republic. The VIII with Annie at bow finished 4th.
Annie is our first Walton girl to make it to the GB Senior squad and it has been great to see her building on previous success with a win in the senior 8+ at Henley Women’s regatta, a silver medal in the W4- at the European University Championships, a bronze medal in the W8+ at the World U23 Rowing Championships in Plovdiv and a bronze medal in the W4-at the FISU World University Championships.
