Congratulations to all those who faced the Tideway on Sunday for the Veterans’ Head of the River Race (VHORR), particularly the Mixed MasD eight (Ali Jackson, Emily Kean, Steve Heywood, Andy Tomalin, Matt Graywood, Peter Knight, Gill Shaw and Jane Alsop c Maddy Jackson) who won their division, and to the WMasD eight (Zoe Guiniven, Fiona McAnena, Lara Conaway, Hilary Poole, Jo Wilkinson, Lesley Flowerdew, Hazel Thiemann and Melanie Pointer (c Ed Wilkinson) who also came a very creditable third behind an international crew and Wallingford.
