A successful weekend for the Walton Juniors racing at Dorney in the National Schools Regatta and the new Junior Sculling Regatta.
On Friday, bronze for the J15 4x of Ardan, Matt, Thomas and Olli/Rowan c Jacques (Olli sculled in the time trial but was taken ill and his place was taken by Rowan for the semis and finals)
Bronze also for the J14 4x of Aidan, Oscar, Ethan and Patrick c Rowan
On Monday, gold for Thomas and Ardan in J15 2x
Silver for the girls’ J14 quad: India, Amelia, Tallulah and Millie c Maddy;
Silver for Hal and Rowan in J14 2x
Everyone who raced performed creditably; Walton members and parents also played a major part in the organisation and roles around the regatta on Monday and really helped the event run smoothly.
