We are sad to report the death of Keith Thompson, after some months of illness. Keith’s father Dick was Secretary for many years, and his daughter Amy and son Ben both sculled at the Club (the singles “Grandad” and “Dandrad” were originally theirs). Keith turned to skiffing, and became Captain and President of Thames Valley Skiff Club; he remained an active skiffing umpire up to last year. The Club sends its condolences to Keith’s mother Gladys, brother Neil, and his many children, step-children and grandchildren.
