Seven Walton crews represented the Thames London West region at the JIRR in Nottingham. Two of them won their events and helped the TLW girls to second place in the overall rankings: the WJ15 four of Sasha, Tally, Leela, Martha c Sarah, and the WJ14 double (Oli and Lily). And some really strong fourth places just outside the medals for the J16 pair of Arlo/Mika and the WJ16 quad of Flick/Amelia/Scarlett/Emilia. Credit too to a last-minute composite boys eight with Weybridge to earn some extra points for the team. But it was very good experience for all, including for many a first encounter with the fickle Nottingham conditions!
