The junior squad made the journey down through Sunbury Lock to Hampton Small Boats Head on Saturday. Many of the relatively small number of events had huge numbers of entries, and the standard in most of them was very high.
Richard and Ciaran did exceptionally well to win the School/Junior pairs, but there were also really good results from Ben and Julius (2nd in J17 doubles), Max and Henry H (2nd in J16 doubles). The J16 4x (Alex R/Finley/Max/Henry H ) were third out of 27; Juliette and Izzy H were fourth out of 23 WJ15 2x; Henry Z/Joe/Julius/Ciaran fourth out of 22 J4x; and the WJ15 quad (Park/Fiona/Issy S/Izzy H + Maya) came 8th out of 45. And of course a good training day with lots of miles for everyone!
