Mike’s 51 years of contribution to Walton Rowing Club and our sport in general was recognised in the British Rowing annual awards for 2024 recently. Apart from coaching countless juniors he was also leader of the project to rebuild the boathouse giving us the top class facility we have now. He was one of the founders of the Scullery being on the organising team of the Junior Sculling Head and Regatta and has led the timing and results team at Walton Small Boats since its inception 45 years ago.
As you can see Mike is still busy coaching the the next generation of Walton scullers and rowers….
