The club had a great set of results at the Veterans Fours Head over a shortened course from Chiswick to Hammersmith, enforced by the forecast of high winds that in the end didn’t materialise. There were wins for the D4x (Glyn, Richard, Mike B, Neil) by a comfortable margin in a very quick time and the D4- (Richard, Graham, Roland , Mike E), a close second for the F4x (Dave, Terry, Michele, Roger), a third for the A4+ (Tim, Vince R, Adam C, Adam S – coxed by Ellen Potts) and a very respectable time for the Mixed Novice 4x+ who managed to scare off any opposition in their category.
