With international competitions restarting, it’s great to see six Walton members in the squad announced today for the European Championships in Varese, 9-11 April: Morgan Bolding will be racing in the M2-, Angus Groom in M4x and Oli Stanhope in PR3 4+. Steve Trapmore will be coaching the M8+ and Mat Tarrant and Annie Withers are also travelling with the squad as men’s and women’s spares. Sam Mottram, who rowed at Walton for one season as a junior, will be in the LM2x. Best wishes to all of them.
