Two Walton crews travelled to Nottingham at the weekend to battle the wind and other crews seeking selection for the under-16 squad; the boys’ four missed out to Westminster Sch by the narrowest of margins, and the girls’ pair came fourth in a very tight field.
More success at Egham, where wins in WJ16 doubles, J15 quads and doubles (an all-Walton final), J13 quads and doubles made Walton the overall Victores Ludorum.
