Congratulations to Matt Heywood on his win in the Ladies’ Plate – in one of the tightest races of the day, his Oxford Brookes eight beat Leander by a mere 3 feet! Also on the podium was former Walton member Rory Harris, whose Leander quad won the Prince of Wales Trophy, beating Hollandia by 1½ lengths.
Both Matt’s father Steve and Rory’s father Nick are active Masters members at the Club – congratulations to all.
