Some really strong results from the Walton juniors at the very competitive Hampton Small Boats Head:
Max and Henry H had a convincing win in J17 2x which also was the fastest doubles time of the event. The girls J16 quad of Park, Hannah, Izzi S and Izzy H were also very impressive, coming second out of 29 entries and in a time that would have put them in the top third of WJ18 quads too! Also a close second was the boys top quad of Henry Z, Cyrus, Lucas and Ben, who were only denied the overall win by a crew that raced in the earlier division.
The J15’s also showed how much progress they are making: Charlie took the silver in the singles from 37 entries, and Hugo & Archie also took silver in the doubles.
