Members of a certain vintage will be sad to hear of the death of Brian Fentiman. Brian was a member of the Quintin eight that represented England in 1968, and the GB lightweight eight in 1975-76; he joined Walton in the early 80s, sculling and coaching senior crews. He introduced the Sunday morning whole-club time-trial routine, which has been a key contributor to the Club’s growth and success since those years. The funeral will be held in Brixham on Tuesday 7th May – we will post more details when we know them. We send our condolences to his family.
