Walton Small Boats - Additional pots on offer PDF Print E-mail

Regarding note 3 on our event poster it has not proved practicable to alter the status of crews from that originally entered in to create three crew events.

However, in the spirit of the season, at the risk of causing some confusion but hopefully not too much controversy we will be presenting the following additional pots on the day:

Fastest 2X

Fastest Womens 2X

Fastest Mixed 2X

Fastest Veteran Novice 2X

Fastest out of Mixed Nov and Mixed Junior 2X's

Fastest Womens 2- (Any status or age group)

Fastest out of VC and VD 2-

Fastest out of VF and VG 1X

Fastest Veteran Novice 1X

Fastest out of VD Nov and VE Nov 1X

Fastest Womens Veteran 1X

Crews are only entitled to one pot per entry.
No handicaps will be applied.
Crews must start in accordance with our published start order.

About the Small Boats Head PDF Print E-mail

Walton Small Boats Head has been held every year at Walton Rowing Club since the young Henry VIII won it in 1512, narrowly defeating our current captain, Nick De Cata, then in his prime. Nick had stayed over from Spain after the Armada, and his Aylings sculling boat El Tonto del Pueblo is still in use today.
