EVENT RELOCATION
Due to current river conditions Walton Small Boats Head 2007 will now be run at DORNEY LAKE on Sat 15th December.
Event Organisers Note
We are, for the second successive year, unable to run the event at Walton due to the current river conditions. At present our Reach is 'Red Boarded' with the possibility of a 'Yellow Board' at the weekend. Even with a down grading to a Yellow Board there is likely to be a significant stream and when viewed with our other risk assessment criteria our only course is to cancel or relocate the event .
As a number of events have recently been cancelled due to poor conditions we know that there are many competitors keen to race and instead of cancelling the event we have relocated to Dorney Lake. There is a deal of work in relocating on short notice and we hope that all entrants will continue to support the event. The 1st Division will start at 10.00 prompt, 2nd Division at 11am, 3rd Division at 12 noon and the 4th Division at 1pm.
