 This year we had interest in four crews at Henley Royal plus an eight at Henley Womens.
Josh and Lewis were in a fancied Fawley Cup quad with two scullers from Marlow RC.
After beating Sir William Borlase easily in their first race, they were unfortunately to come up against the Henley Maidenhead composite, who were the eventual winners. They lost by only half a length in a very fast time after an epic struggle.
The Wyfold four and our second Fawley quad both qualified well but lost after hard races in the first round. The double scull of Paul Hone and Paul Keen raced well but lost to Greek international crew also in the first round.
The womens eight has been training hard under Neil West's guidance this year and were unlucky to be the fastest non-qualifiers after the qualifying round.
