Walton Small Boats Head 2009 has been cancelled due to fast stream conditions. All entry fee cheques will be destroyed

Apologies if we may have seemed to delay the inevitable by not making a decision earlier but the EA had told us they expected the river flow to drop significantly by the weekend. The stream is only dropping slowly at the moment and there is no evidence that conditions will have improved sufficiently by Saturday for us to run an event.

Thank you to everyone who has entered, all the people who have helped with the organisation of the event and to those who have volunteered to help on the day.
