WALTON SMALL BOATS HEAD

Walton Small Boats Head is raced over a course of approximately 3000 metres, from d'Oyly Carte Island, Weybridge, to Miskins Wharf, which is just upstream of Walton Rowing Club.

We will be running three divisions starting at 10.00, 11.30, and 13.00

Competitors in J16 and above are encouraged to race in more than one division, although the same crew may not race more than once in the same event.

The following events will be offered in Open / Women / Mixed

1x/2x/2- 
4x/4+ 
4x+ 
Elite, Senior, Int1, Int2, Int3, Nov, J18, J16, J15, J14, J13 All Masters age groups (including novice masters) Elite, Senior, Int1, Int2, Int3, Nov, J18, J16 All Masters age groups (including novice masters)
J15, J14, and J13
Please note from 01/04/10 Veterans will be called Masters and the minimum age is now 27.

1. All competitors must be competent & capable of completing a 10k outing per division entered.
2. Juniors under the age of 15 may not compete in sweep-oared events.
3. We reserve the right to limit the number entries in any division.
4. Pint pewter tankards will be presented on the day to the winners of all events where at least three crews have entered and to the fastest crew in each boat type (only one pot per entry).
5. Masters and mixed events with less than three entries may be informally grouped together and pots awarded where possible at our discretion.
There will be NO handicaps applied.
6. Do not be shy of entering mixed events they can lead to exciting arguments!

Entries may be made via BROE (OARA) or on the event entry form (clich here to download) but payments must arrive at the address below before entries close or entries may not be accepted. Please use one separate form for each club or composite

If the event is cancelled all entry fee cheques will be destroyed. Refunds will only be given on withdrawn entries if the Entries Secretary receives confirmation of this before the closing time of entries.

Please ensure that all the necessary details are given; if no section is given, the Committee may place the crew in any section, at its convenience. Note also that entry forms MUST be signed by an authorised official of the club.

This notice, the start order and results will be available on the Walton Rowing Club website, www.waltonrowingclub.co.uk as will any other notices and instructions concerning the race.
Please note: Telephone entries are not accepted.
Entries close at 6 pm on Saturday 3rd April or when our limit has been reached
